The Broken Hourglass: PC/NPC Dialog

Still at The Broken Hourglass writing.

Jason and I have talked our way through a good chunk of what I'd roughed out earlier; now I'm settling down to get more talks added.

Starting to feel more comfortable with my two 'troublesome' characters, though the one is going to need a bit more work on my part before I really feel comfortable with him. Got some more background from Jason, which should help--some of it will never appear in the game, one or two tidbits might make their way in via dialog.

Also added another conversation for Carind and Makarios. I'd like to see a bit more between them than exists as yet.

  1. I find fascinating the process that goes into something like this. I have played far too many video games in my life, and they are often remembered fondly or not remembered at all by the importance (or, indeed appearance) of the storyline and especially the dialogue. Good voice acting helps, of course, but the development of truly excellent characters make the difference for me in my attempts at immersion. I am curious to see the results.

    On another topic, where's the "The End of Time" review??? You have only weeks until the new Doctor appears. Your loyal readership demands it!

    Ok, maybe just me, but I'm still curious.

  2. Sorry about the absent review. The truth is, having put it off so long, I'm waiting til the library copy comes in so I can watch it that way.
