Oh BBC!

Two more teeny Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell teasers.

It's like they're trying to drive me mad! And what's with the "summer" business? They say "May" on their Facebook page. They'd better mean May. And May is not summer.

*Freeze frames to try and get a good look at the Castle of Lost Hope.

  1. Do British people think May is summer? Do they think because the weather gets nice in May and they have to break out the barbecues that it's summer? I hope they DO think that, because I am so tired of waiting for JS&MN to come out. Even a release date would be a huge step forward.

    1. Is the weather nice in May in England?

Both Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell Facebook pages (book & TV) say May, so they had better mean May!

According to the book page, they won't give the date until two weeks before the show airs. Why? Will we get a trailer before then? What is going on?

  2. No. May is not summer in the UK. Summer is June, July & August. However, there are 2 bank holiday weekends in May 4th and 25th so that may mean new TV shows.

    1. I didn't think that the British were quite so off-schedule with the rest of us.

I do hope they mean the May time they've been saying on Facebook. It's not exactly being trumpeted about.

  3. I just had a horrible thought. What if they mean May for the British and Summer for the benighted colonies?
