Oo, I don't like the look of the gentleman with the thistle-down hair. And also they should have genderswapped that part so that Tilda Swinton could play it as she was born to do. BUT I really love the glimpses of the actual magic that they do -- the sand horses are rather amazing. Can't wait!
I agree--the Gentleman does look more powdered than pale (though he probably would powder if it occurred to him). I hope that I'll just get swept up on the show & forget that very quickly.
My tiny concern is: If Strange knows right off that Norrell has used fairy magic (and objects to it?!), does that mean Stephen Black's role is going to be minimized? I hope not!
Radio Times for the week beginning Saturday 2 came out today. No sign of this over the bank holiday weekend. But there's another bank holiday at the end of the month.
