Books, bugs, and birds are constant parts of the blog. Gardening shows up a lot, so do books on gardening.
There is one at a local mall and I've wondered the same thing. So far, I've never seen anyone in it.
I haven't, either, but it's been there a while, so presumably it is paying for itself in some way.
